The aim of this summer course is to have the complicity of the Georgian embassy in Spain with the aim of bringing the origins of winemaking closer to this region and getting to know the oriental rituals associated with its consumption, such as the Georgian supra. The course proposes a journey from antiquity to know the role played by wine in the sociability of different cultures that found in the symposium, at the banquet or at the party ways to relate and live together.

Professionally: Companies in the tourism sector and companies related to wine culture in all its aspects.

Academically: Students of the Degrees of Tourism, History, Art, Archaeology…

General: to all people interested in the tourism sector and wine culture.


Aims and Objectives

Bring the origins of winemaking closer to different regions and learn about the rituals associated with its consumption, such as the Georgian supra.

Propose a journey from antiquity to know the role played by wine in the sociability of different cultures that found in the symposium, at the banquet or at the party ways to relate and live together.
